Strong Roots Foundation is organizing a Senior Support Day during Saba Doet. Volunteers will help elderly residents with light yard work, small home tasks, and friendly visits. Together we will bring practical help and positive company to seniors who appreciate a little extra support from the community.
On Friday, May 15, 2026, we need 9 volunteers to visit 4 to 5 elderly residents who live at home and need a little extra support. Volunteers will help with light yard work, small clean-up tasks, and simple jobs in and around the home, while also offering friendly social support.
Comfortable clothes, a hat or sunscreen, and a positive attitude. Gloves and basic materials will be provided.
On Saturday, May 16, 2026, we need 9 volunteers to support activities at the elderly home. Volunteers will spend time with residents, help with games and small group activities, and offer practical help and positive company.

About Strong Roots
Strong Roots Foundation is a community initiative on Saba supporting seniors, women, men and youth through programs that strengthen empowerment, connection, wellbeing and mutual support across the island community.
Elderly residents receive practical help and social support, while volunteers strengthen community connections. The activity also raises awareness about the new Strong Roots seniors program on Saba.
